Lots of little dreams all in one night, I remember most of them, I'm not sure if it's 'right' but i do seem to get it and then forget it, if I don't forget I think I'm not getting hehehe if that makes any sense at all?! I had this one this morning, I'm wondering if maybe someone could help with it. I think perhaps I may be the 'ride'?? I remember the dream from this point....I am being told a name over and over, of an amusement park 'ride'...I am outside, it is gloomy, cold, stormy. I am walking with someone who is telling me this name (I can't recall the name) I am being told how wonderful, beautiful, this 'ride' is. As we walk we come to the amusement park, it is to my right and is all on a hill. At the very top the ride being spoken about is there, it is a giant rocking horse. I can see that at some time, it would indeed of been something wonderful, but now it is looking sad, it has peeling paint and it's once beuatiful colours have turned dull. There are a few children still playing on it, but mostly it is ignored/forgotton and in need of repair. I then see that where we are walking, is on a promenade, to my left is the sea, churning, big waves crashing. The promenade is covered with water, about ankle deep. I am then taken into hiding in another part of the park, within some cave/tunnel of a ride. My grandad is the one with me now and he is trying to help me and others. It's like we are being looked for. The place we are hiding is dusty and smells damp, again is old and needing repair. And that's it.

Hi Sam! If I remember my dreams I always try to understand them as I believe those dreams that 'stick with us' are more important to decipher. While reading your dream my first impression was the amusement park and the ride is 'life on earth', and how it can be seen as beautiful and wonderful by another, but it's how you see it being sad and in disrepair, although some are still playing on it, it's mostly being neglected. It's like mass consciousness, most would say earth is a pretty sad place to be and needs a lot of attention and TLC to get back to the original pristine beauty and wonder of it all. The sea starting to engulf the promenade as you approach the ride you are drawn to by your friend walking with you.....reminds me of Noah and the Ark. Being brought into safe hiding in a cave/tunnel, which is also a ride, is like the Ark Noah was guided to build for a safe haven. Your grandad being with you is like God being with Noah, finding safety to get through the storms, being looked for is like the dry land being sought after by releasing the dove periodically. It's not the best of circumstances, your temporary hiding spot/shelter, but it will do! Sam, I really think the message of this dream is this. The ride of life on the amusement park of earth isn't quite what is used to be, it has lost its former beauty and brightness and the colors are duller, and the condition it's in is poor and in disrepair, needs attention, which it's true earth does need help to recover. Some play though, so that is possible. Some have the perspective it's a great ride, come see, so that's another possibility....to shift our attention and find the beauty, again. The coming of water on the path signifies there is danger and to find safe haven, especially to trust the voice of your 'elder' (grandad) and know you are protected and the storm will pass, not only for you but others too. And this too shall pass, Sam.
